A study into employment and discrimination for people with experiences of bipolar disorder.
We are looking for participants to take part in a study for people with bipolar disorder. This study is an exploration of the factors that produce or protect against discrimination in employment.
The primary aim of the study is to help illuminate the factors that make employment a discriminatory or non-discriminatory environment and hopefully contribute to changes in improving the employment experiences of people with mental health issues.
This current study is being undertaken by the University of Auckland (Vanessa Cooper BA(Hons)/current Masters student, Samson Tse (PhD, Master’s Supervisor) and the Balance NZ Bipolar & Depression Network (Dr Carolyn Doughty – National Coordinator, Frank Bristol - Manager).
This study will take place between July and 30th November, 2007. Particpants can fill out the questionaire in about 15 minutes.
All responses will be treated with the strictest confidentiality and the results of this study will be published on the Balance NZ website. We would like to thank you in advance for your participation, it is greatly appreciated.
