The Honourable Ruth Dyson (Minister of Community, Voluntary and Disability Sector) asked to visit us in Christchurch to view what we had acheived with Project HoPE. 

The visit took place on June 25th 2008 and Ruth was impressed with what has been acheived. We had some excellent discussions around the use of IT in mental health support and education. We found Ruth to be very well informed of the issues that are found in our work.

We really appreciated the interest Ruth Dyson showed in our work by taking time to to view what Balance NZ has acheived so far.
