WRAP research and new book released |

The WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Plan) is a popular and widely respected self-management recovery tool used worldwide, and translated into several languages including Te Reo. WRAP is designed to help participants identify a variety of internal and external resources and personalized wellness tools. Initial results by Cook et al (2009) have shown encouraging results regarding the impact of WRAP on a variety of recovery-related outcomes, and Starino et al (2010) found that preliminary results offer promising evidence that the use of WRAP has a positive effect on self-reported hope and recovery-related attitudes, and is an effective complement to current mental health treatment. Mary Ellen Copeland has just released WRAP Plus, an enhancement of the original book that also includes her findings about mental health recovery and the use of WRAP, along with many additional features.
