Sad News re Michael Wiltshire's passing

It is with much sadness we have learnt of the passing of Michael Wiltshire today (Saturday, 29th May 2010). It was Michael's vision and  perseverence over many years that resulted in the setting up of the NZ Manic Depression Network, which has now evolved into Balance NZ.

Our deepest sympathy goes to Michael's family. His funeral is expected to be held on Wednesday or Thursday at the Quaker Meeting House, Wellington. A funeral notice will be in the  Dominion Post and Wanganui Chronicle on Monday 30th May.

Further details later...........

I met Michael many times in recent years and will miss his compassion for others. His illhealth held back his body but not his mind or his heart.

The Wellington Friends have advised that Michael will be farewelled on Thursday 3 June at 11am. Queries about the service to Martin Payne .nz

A Remembrance page has been set up for Michael, his family and friends, at http://www.amemorytree.co.nz/remembrance.php?personid=101694
